Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel was a British actress who was best known for playing Missandei on HBO's fantasy epic "Game of Thrones" (HBO in 2011-19). Emmanuel was born in Southend-on-the-Sea an area of Essex and found herself drawn to the arts of performing from the age of three. The mother of her daughter was immediately impressed, and when young Nathalie was just three years old, parents took her to the singing, dancing and acting classes. Emmanuel proved to be a gifted actress and singer. Her role was created as young Nala at The West End of "The Lion King" during the latter half of 1990. Emmanuel was a candidate for roles in both television and films when she was still a teenager. In 2007, she got her first big role, when she played Sasha Valentine in the British soap opera Hollyoaks (Channel 4 1995-). Emmanuel performed the role for four seasons, before ending the series in. Emmanuel received her biggest break on HBO "Game of Thrones" after three years, playing the character of Missandei. This role will be the voice of Daenerys' Targaryen character (portrayed by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel has appeared in each season of "Game of Thrones" through until the series' May 2019 finale.
