LeonaLeona Louise Lewis, born on April 3, 1985. It is an actor as well as a singer and activist born in Britain. She was raised in London Borough of Islington and took classes at the Croydon's BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. Lewis was recognized as a national talent by winning the third season of The X Factor in 2006, winning the PS1 million recording deal in partnership with Syco Music. The single she won and was a cover Kelly Clarkson's song "A Moment Like This" was downloaded 50,000 times in 30 minutes . It topped the charts at number 1 for four weeks. Clive Davis, Lewis's American record label J Records signed Lewis a 5 album deal in February 2007. Her success continued after she dropped her debut album Spirit (2007). It has been certified as platinum by the UK it became the fourth best-selling album in 2000s. It is reported by the Official Charts Company claims that Spirit was the 21st-century's best-selling album by a female debut. The number one single in the UK, Bleeding Love, remained at No. 1 for seven weeks, and was the top-selling single of 2007 as per the Official Charts Corporation. The song was also the highest-selling song in the US the same year. Lewis won the Billboard Best New Artist Award next year. In 2009, she released her sophomore studio album, Echo and also composed the theme track, "I See You" to be used in the film Avatar. In the year 2011, Lewis released the single "Collide" which was a collaboration together with Swedish DJ Avicii, and her first extended work, Hurt: The EP. Glassheart (2012) is Lewis's three studio albums. It's an exciting new style. Lewis draws inspiration from dubstep , as well as electronic music. Her Glassheart Tour was in the mid-year of 2013, and she started recording songs for her debut Christmas album. Christmas, with Love was released later that year, and the album's lead track, "One More Sleep", peaked at number three within the UK. Lewis who is who is a British solo female artist was the first artist to make it into the top of the list with eight songs. This is more than Olivia Newton John's seven-year record.
