Agnetha Faltskog

Agnetha faltskog is primarily known for her role as a soloist from Sweden. But, she'll forever be remembered as a one of the original members of ABBA, the world's most popular and commercially successful pop band. When she left school at the age of 15 Agnetha started singing with Bernt Enghardt's group which quickly gained a following. Enghardt secured her a contract with a record deal and soon made it to the highest spot on Sweden's charts, when she released her first single. After getting engaged, she became married to Bjorn Ulvaeus. They became a member of the group 'ABBA'. For the next eight years, 'ABBA' would become one of the top popular acts around the globe with numerous gold and platinum awards around the globe. Three albums were released following ABBA which included 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me, Eyes of a Woman,' and I Stand Alone,' which were all very successful in Sweden in addition to gaining the attention of Europe however not in the U.S. ABBA's music was the subject of a jukebox musical called 'Mamma Mia!'.
